Emergency Management Planning for the Town of Aylmer is the responsibility of the Community Emergency Management Program Committee. The committee is made up of members from Municipal Council, Staff and Local Industry.

There is also a Community Emergency Management Coordinator (CEMC) and a alternate CEMC that are appointed by the Town Council and are responsible for maintenance and testing of the Municipal Emergency Plan.
