Aylmer Canada 150 Celebrations

In honour of the 150th anniversary of Confederation, the Town of Aylmer will be hosting a series of fun-filled family events.

Canada 150 Parade
May 13, 2017 11:00 a.m.
Talbot Street

Come out and enjoy this colourful celebration of our great country - Canada! Starting at the Aylmer Fairgrounds the parade will travel West along Talbot Street, turning down Elm Street and ending in Optimist Park where the Tulip Festival will begin. Enjoy colourful local entries, giant Canada themed inflatables, and talented marching bands. The Canada 150 Committee invites parade participants and spectators alike to take part in this great community event.

Tulip Festival

Optimist/Kinsmen Park

Come out and enjoy an afternoon of family fun in Optimist and Kinsmen Parks! The following great family activities will be going on in the park all afternoon:

Youth Entertainment
Live Music
Disc Golf Tournament
Photos with Giant Beaver Inflatable
Art and Vendors in the Park
BBQ (hamburgers and hot dogs)

Free Family Friendly Movie Nights
Aylmer Old Town Hall Theatre
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Movie starts at 7:00 p.m.
