Aylmer Fair – The Aylmer Fair - It's All for You!

An Annual Tradition since 1846, this hometown fair is held in August each year. The East Elgin Agricultural Society presents demolition derbies, horse shows, midway rides and games, 4H competitions, craft and flower exhibits, as well as many interesting events and shows.

Aylmer Sweet Cornfest Aylmer SWEET Cornfest – August 27th and 28th, 2010
Held the last weekend in August, this event celebrates Aylmer’s hometown agricultural roots. Aug 27- Cruise Night; Aug 28 - downtown sidewalk sales, family activities in the parks, art and antiques in the park, street buskers and performers, free games and wagon rides, crafts and more.

Honey Harvest Festival - Clovermead Bees & Honey - First 3 Saturdays in September

Celebrate the Honey Harvest the first three Saturdays in September. Events throughout the day, view beehive opening demonstrations, honey harvesting, try your hand at beeswax candle making. Wagon rides, face painting, barrel train rides, honey plant maze and trails. Observe bees in our gigantic glass beehive. Visit the farm animals and meet birds. Free honey samples. Bee Beard Demonstration and Live music.

Christmas Events in Aylmer, Ontario Christmas Spirit Walk December 4th - Springwater Conservation Area
Stroll a candle lit path through the Springwater Forest, join local performers as they celebrate the spirit of Christmas. Sip on a hot beverage, see who awaits you at the end of the trail!

Santa Claus Parade Saturday November 27 starting at 2pm - on Mainstreet Aylmer. An annual tradition put on by the Aylmer Kinsmen, involves many community clubs, businesses and schools. Bring the whole family and dress warm!
