Town of Aylmer Bag Tags
Bag tags are now available at the following locations in Aylmer:
Studers Variety - 350 John Street South
ESSO Gas Station - 110 Talbot Street West
Shell Gas Station - 567 John Street North
Mobil Gas Station – 657 John Street North
Please note that participating vendors only accept cash payments for bag tag sales.
Bag tags are $2.00 each and do not have an expiry date. Tags are only required if you exceed the limit as set out in By-Law 21-12 and noted on your 2021 Waste Collection Schedule available for viewing below.

NOTICE TO AYLMER RESIDENTS
The Town will no longer be hosting a Household Hazardous and E-waste Depot at the East Elgin Community Complex. We have contracted the services of the facility listed below.
City of St. Thomas Community Recycling Centre
As of January 1, 2017 Town of Aylmer Residents can utilize this facility to dispose of household hazardous and electronic waste.
Please review the brochure for materials accepted and corresponding fee.
Household Hazardous Waste
Saturdays ONLY from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - all year.
Site is Closed on Statutory Holidays.

Under the recently launched "Ontario Tire Stewardship Program", Aylmer residents are allowed to dispose of up to four (4) tires per week per household. Aylmer Tire located at 49703 Talbot Line (572 Talbot Street East) is a Registered Collector under the program and will accept tires free of charge. Tires will be accepted at Aylmer Tire during normal business hours:
Any residents wishing to drop off more than the listed limit of tires must contact Aylmer Tire at 519-773-3141 to make arrangements. This program is a joint effort involving the Province of Ontario, Ontario Tire Stewardship, Aylmer Tire and the Town of Aylmer. |
